* to enable children to accept new situations in a safe,  non-judgmental environment

* to allow children to experiment with various materials and activities

* to encourage the development of language skills and to build self esteem

* to help children work things out and do things for themselves

* to promote an environment where learning is free from prejudice and without discrimination

* and to help children develop self-discipline and respect for others

Daily activities include a selection from the following:

painting and drawing * music* dressing-up clothes * play dough * sand and water * doll’s house * home corner/shop * computers * climbing equipment * books * cars and roadways * train sets * parachute games * construction toys * technology * outside play and ride-on toys * jigsaws and tabletop puzzles * junk modeling and collage.

Children are encouraged to explore and learn from different materials such as water, paint, glue and clay.
